Kristina Moy over at Red Tricycle just posted "12 Reasons You Need to Visit Suncadia This Summer". In case you aren't familiar with Red Tricycle, it's a very popular website focused on local events and activities for kids and families.
Here's a list of their 12 reasons to visit Suncadia:
- Hiking and biking and strolling
- Lake Activities Galore
- Daily Kids’ Activities
- CampCadia
- Free Live Music & Outdoor Summer Concerts
- Kid-friendly Dining Options
- Suncadia Club Swim & Fitness Center
- A Golf Course That Caters to All Ages
- Nightly S’mores by the Campfire
- Barnyard BBQ at Suncadia’s Nelson Farm
- A World Class Spa
- KIDS RULE! Package
I agree with most of these, with the exception of #6 (Kid Friendly Dining Options). Suncadia really doesn't have a good restaurant for kids. Portals, which is the main restaurant in the Lodge, is the only option for dinner and it's way too fancy. They need a casual, 'Red Robin' style diner that is open for dinner where kids can yell and scream.
